Achille Vann Ricca is an actor-first, educator-second, everything-else-third artist who holds a BFA in Acting with a Minor in Education from Ithaca College. He holds warmth, collaborative spirit, rhythm, and quareness dear in his artistic pursuits.
Achille will be originating the role of PINE in KUDZU CALLING at Alabama Shakespeare Festival in June 2025 and playing SKIN HORSE in THE VELVETEEN RABBIT at Mile Square Theatre this upcoming February. He has also been seen regionally on the stages of the Hangar Theatre and Kitchen Theatre. With a passion for bringing imaginative and equitable art to life, Achille also currently works as a 6th-grade teaching artist through Black Theatre United, using the structure of devised theater to synthesize the already-brilliant ideas of black&brown kids, and develop said ideas into a collaborative musical.

Comfort Food at the Kitchen Theatre
Achille will be playing SKINHORSE in The Velveteen Rabbit at Mile Square Theatre this upcoming February.
In June 2025, Achille will originate the role of PINE in Kudzu Calling at Alabama Shakespeare Festival.
Achille played the role of GABRIEL in Comfort Food, co-produced by Walking on Water and Fitz&Startz, in residence at Ithaca's Kitchen theatre. The role garnered him warm reviews in local papers.
Liars w/ Clubbed Thumb
Achille played TRAIL in the developmental workshop of Sam Bell's new play Liars. He was a member of the acting cohort within Clubbed Thumb's New Play Directing Fellowship.
As You Like It w/ Amoeba Productions
Make Way for Ducklings! at Hangar Theatre
Achille portrayed both Touchstone (comedic prose) and Adam (dramatic verse) in Shakespeare's As You Like It w/ Amoeba Productions at Riverbank State Park.
Achille co-lead the Hangar Theatre's summer kids' musical as Mr. Mallard in Make Way for Ducklings!
